VOLUNTEERS
Waypoints recognize the vital role of volunteers and are grateful for their contribution to our organization.
Waypoints has two categories of volunteers:
1. Individual volunteer activities (such as intramurals, tutoring, equine learning, sports and leisure.)
2. Event volunteer ( these are specific events such as clean up day, Santa Claus Parade, etc)
Volunteers with Waypoints are provided with:
1. A smoke free environment
2. Orientation
3. Specific orientation
As a potential volunteer, you are required to complete our volunteer screening:

- Three references
- Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check
- Child, Youth and Family Services check
As a potential volunteer, you are required to attend an orientation session.
Once accepted as a volunteer, you will be placed ad assigned a mentor within Waypoints.
